What to Expect

THE FIRST STEP IS YOUR FREE CONSULTATION.

During your consultation, a treatment provider will carefully examine your face, neck, chest, and hands to check for the kind of sun damage, vascular issues, and pigment irregularities that can be helped with BBL.

Before Treatment

Prime your skin two weeks prior with vitamin A, vitamin C and other growth factor serums

Avoid tanning and prolonged sun exposure for two weeks prior

Cease blood thinners, anti-inflammatory medications, omega-oils, multivitamins, vitamin B, vitamin E and glucosamine for one week prior to minimise the risk of bruising

Men are to be clean shaven prior to treatment

During Treatment

The treatment involves your therapist making small punctures to the outermost layers of your skin with the Dermlapen. Slight discomfort is felt, however, not enough to require a numbing agent.

After Treatment

Avoid excessive exercise in the first 24 hours

Avoid scrubs and exfoliants and strong skincare products for the first three to five days

Avoid cosmetic injectables for the first week

Avoid tanning and prolonged sun exposure for the first two weeks
